Need a little help
I am having problems trying to search for some information on changing out my 85 front end to a 73 front end. If someone could please find a thread that shows what I need to do I would appreciate it. I am deployed and having a hard time searching on the network over here.

This is the link you need: http://www.4wheeloffroad.com/techart...wap/index.html
You can find some info from a 88-91 conversion. http://coloradok5.com/grilleswap.shtml |

Re: Need a little help
Thanks for the link. I know what it takes to put the grill on, I just want some more information regarding the rest of the swap from the cab forward.

Re: Need a little help
an older front end is a "bolt on" to a newer truck, except for the bumper...you will need to make brackets or cut the front frame horns off of the donor and weld them to your frame if you want to use a correct bumper
(the newer clip to an older truck requires more fabrication). you need everything including the shorter wiper stubs to fit under the hood. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=310518 Grand Rojo in the link above changed his core support frame mounts also, but I'm not sure it is necessary.
