carb spacer
Running into some clearance issues at the back when putting a stock air cleaner on the truck. The engine is 350, Edelbrock 1405m, and there's a 1" carb spacer on. Will removing that spacer hurt the operation of the truck in any way?

Re: carb spacer
are you talking about a spacer between the intake and the carb. if so nope shouldnt at all if it bolts right back up to the intake with a good gasket.

Re: carb spacer
no problems at all.
I just question how you can be having issues. In my first longhorn I had a SBC with a performer RPM intake, carb spacer, then a 2 or 3 inch air filoter spacer, topped with an open airfilter that was 3 or 4 inches tall. |

Re: carb spacer
Removing the 1" spacer will increase torque. It won't hurt operation but you will probably notice a difference under heavy acceleration.
