Anyone else here have a 60-66 4WD Suburban?
I am trying to get the ride height on my burb narrowed down. It seems pretty high to me and that is before I get the tires on it. I would like some 33's but right now it is running 31's. I am looking to add another 4 inches with a rack on the roof like blown240's. My problem is my clearance is about 80 inches to the opening of my garage and I am already barely clearing it without the roof rack and I feel like I am already riding high. Does anyone mind measuring what they are at or might have some paperwork I could use as reference.
Thanks, AJ Posted via Mobile Device Last edited by burbluv; 03-07-2011 at 04:28 AM. |

My 62 was all stock when I got it, cleared 35s easy. From what I've noticed any 4wd of this style, they sit high. Mine looked like it had lift springs with the arch, but all stock. Might be able to use front springs off a 67-72, they use the short spring, but be the same length with less lift.
