I'll get this right out of the way, sorry guys. No pictures yet, just traded for it tonight and it's dark. I'll have some tomorrow when I get home from work.

Vital Stats:
Goodwrench crate 350
Edelbrock Carb
Holley contender intake

Reman TH350

Short wide with the Cheyenne package. Being that its also 35 years old, I can tag it as an Antique.

Plans are to pickup a full lowering kit from work tomorrow on the way out the door. Also planning on finding some 18" TT2's.

I'm going to strip it down this weekend and throw new fenders and doors on it this weekend. In the future it's getting a pair of Dart heads with a comp 292h and a 3200 stall with a 750 demon. All of which is already sitting here for the K10 I got rid of. Maybe this thread will have more interest, considering it's a SWB 2wd, instead of a LWB 4x4.

Fixed a bit of the rust on it, just decided I don't need two 4x4's.

Yep! Truck will be getting new doors and fenders on this weekend. Along with a 73-74 front end makeover.

Picked up some factory steel wheels tonight from a 74 complete with the dog dish hub caps! Heck, the guy's dog thought I had food in the hub cap as I was carrying them to the truck!

Also got the Original Warranty book and glove box SPID label tonight too.

Got it running this weekend, basic tuneup + new distributor condenser & wiring harness from the distributor to the coil. Filled it up with coolant and transmission fluid. Truck runs down the road straight and shifts firm.

Also started working on the 73-74 grille swap. Scored a complete set of brackets this weekend from a 74 GMC. Also picked up the chrome 74 GMC grille from the same truck for $5.

Not sure if I want to go with a Chevrolet or GMC grille. I know the factory chromed 73-74 GMC grilles are fairly hard to find.

GMC grills are rare to find. The best solution is go with a Chevrolet grill from Top Banana Parts-LINK
They sell a replacement grill that is better than NOS, and it GM certified.

Haven't updated in nearly a month.. Here's some of the most current on goings with the truck.

Got the motor torn down and back together, found out it had less than 5k on it, speed pro forged pistons. Stuffed a bigger cam in, adding dart heads and wiring the nitrous kit.

Going to leave the steel wheels on, possibly put the stock rusty front clip back on and go troll some corvettes.

Got the core support back on, new radiator in. Grille brackets painted. Also dropped the front of the truck with a one off set of 5" springs.

Got the turd on the move today. Drove it up to the gas station, then cruised around for a while. Still have some other stuff to do. Was planning on painting the whole truck semi-gloss black this weekend but managed to get wrapped up in other projects.

Also snagged an old school edelbrock scorpion intake for the truck. So I can toss the torker II which is a waste of aluminum.
