Removing Doors
I need a little help. Do I have to remove the fenders to get the doors completely off?

Re: Removing Doors
Nope. When I do it (I'm not all too strong) I open the door, prop up under the outside with a jack stand, roll down the window, remove all bolts on the door side of the hinge...doing the last one in the top hinge. The door will 'catch' on your threshold and you can balance it upright with one hand.

SC-C 10 - really appreciate the offer. Nice knowing someone is so close to me with a similar rig.

Re: Removing Doors
No problem! There are three of us in town that have restored/rodded ours from the wheels up in the past year. We all help each other out trading labor, skills, beverages, etc. Let me know how I/we can help you.

Re: Removing Doors
hey Tiger....another little trick I've read on here......to make sure you install that door back to where it was is to drill a small hole thru the hinge into the pillar....it'll help ya line her back up

Re: Removing Doors
Wanted to do that, but doors are going back onto a different cab. Sucks.

Re: Removing Doors
