Are all of the steering wheels from 1960-66 the same wheel or did they change them up any. If so does anyone have pics of them.. Also what would I expect to pay for a fair condition stock wheel???

There were a couple of different styles depending on the option package. The difference being the custom cab package that came with the steering wheel type below...

The '66 custom cab trucks used a steering wheel from a second gen Chevy II/Nova.

What would a fair condition wheel go for? Do they all come with the chrome half hoop horn like the one above?? I want a big OG wheel, let me know if anyone has one for sale. In ok-fair condition.

almost every stock wheel is going to need some restoration, very few wont. the wheel wont be much maybe $25-50.00 tops, but that chrome pretty stuff shown above is high.

I know almost all wheels will be cracked and in need of repair. Are you saying that not all wheels have the chrome horn ring??? If so what is the going price for with the chrome horn ring, that needs love? Does anyone have one for sale?

If you can find the one you want and it's cracked you can take over to Koch in Acton and he can restore it for you. A friend of mine just took his 40 Ford wheel to him he had it a week and it came out perfect. Just like factory fresh. He restores VW's and Steering wheels. So the trick is getting the one you want After that you know you can get it repaired and the color you want.

Yea I was looking for one that wasnt perfect so I can repair it myself with some good old fashion elbow grease .. and I would pay alot less for something that needs some love

Here is a wheel that I got with my 'burb. It is a 1/2'' larger in diameter than my other steering wheels (17''). I also have the horn button which is from something else I believe. Chime in if ya know. The one on the left on the bench.

Heres a wheel i just finished. It has a lesser known horn cap on it. Im not 100% if the cap is original. Ive never seen them on any chevy cars tho, only truck. If im not mistaken the 66 model year only had this wheel and 2 styles of horn cap + the deluxe ring. The blue wheel is a deluxe wheel up to 65 year model. They also were on 60's impalas.

wheel # 1 is my stock 66 one
wheel # 2 is the common 66 cap
wheel # 3 is the deluxe 66 ring
wheel # 4 is the 60 to 65 deluxe (i think)
