67-68 Inner Grill color? Need opinions
I'm trying to decide what color I should paint the inner grill inserts on my 67 grill. The truck will be orange with white accents so the grill hoops will be white. Should the inserts be orange like the truck or white like the hoops? Any pics you have with painted grill hoops would be great! This is a good example of white hoops with white inserts.

Mine are body color right now. I think it would look better same color as the hoops. Black also looks good.

Mine are body colored. i say paint em white too. orange may be a little too much but it would be different. ask someone to photoshop it for you. You may like what you see

Re: 67-68 Inner Grill color? Need opinions
Thanks for the inputs. I've been looking at different trucks and I've noticed a trend that that if the hoops are aluminum or chrome then the inserts are usually body color or black and if the hoops are painted white then the inserts are usually white.
Good idea about the photoshop |

I did white with the aluminum trim. Go white. Clear lenses look good with the white too.

IMO...White hoops and white or flat black inner trim.
I've got anodized and went for a pale silver blue metallic inners. |

Its hard to beat the factory look to me.
I just love this truck! Wish it was closer so I could drool all over it!
