Re: bucket seat choice

Do you still have your in cab fuel tank? I just found new seats for mine at a buddy's shop that are origin unknown but they may be out of an accord or some small import. i had late 80's- early 90's era mustang foxbody seats in my 69 c20 and they fit great, and looked totally custom. A little firm but still comfy.

Factory buckets! Or a 60/40 split out of a 88-98 GM truck. Bucket on the drivers side and small bench on the pass. side, comfy too!

Re: bucket seat choice

sport seats out of a bmw. Sport versions have the bolster in front and are super comfortable and supportive. Not sure they'd sell for $30 though

Re: bucket seat choice

My cell is in the frame too. Its nice to recline..if only an inch or two. If you see any 'stangs check em out. They worked perfect for me even with the lost leg room from my body drop. Wish i could tell you what mine are out off, but definitely check out all the hondas and stuff. From my experience alot of the domestic seats were just too big especially with my floor being raised.

Re: bucket seat choice

i did a search for previous post, saw some bonneville seats with the should mounted seat belt. they looked pretty good. Good thing about pull a part, price are pre-set no matter what they come out of. 50 bucks for transmission 10 for starters great place and there is 3 in Atlanta.

Re: bucket seat choice

go get some 94/97 thunderbird seats, if you want something with lumbar support and adjustable side bolsters pick up 89-93 thunderbird supercoupe seats.

Re: bucket seat choice

my dad had a 72 one ton and it had a seat that was origin unknown too but it was a split bench like a 40/20/40 and it had the extendable headrest too that thing was so comfy but limited on movement, also knew a guy that has a sinilar set up that he pulled from an old caddy or a lincon that was power and he hooked it all up and loved it.
