Heddo from Utah =) 72 blazer W the Dmax
Poppin in from a link from my video on Youtube.
Nice to find this place. I own the 12 second Duramax powered 1972 blazer. Its life started in our family in 1975 as a CST 350 auto, Orange with white top. I was 6 years old. dad Blew the eng first week and built a 400 SBC that dominated our blazer club (Associated Blazers Of California)at comp hills at Dumont dunes and Pismo beach. this truck has been to the top of Devils slide. I took over when I was 26 and put a BBC in it on N2o. I totaled it head on in 2001 and fixed it over the years. In 2009 I started the Duramax conversion that is still searching for funds to complete =) I have over 2500 miles on it since the dmax. and Ive been on family road trips with it and my children. http://s604.photobucket.com/home/Mad...cpZZ2QQtppZZ32 Last edited by Madspeed; 03-24-2011 at 08:33 PM. |

Re: Heddo from Utah =) 72 blazer W the Dmax
Curious what years at Pismo? My family and I also had several "dominating" trucks at Pismo through the years since we lived there (70's-early 90's). Last one being a 78' 3/4 ton chevy with an LS6 BB in the early 90's and started with our 73 k5 running drags at the flatts or at "comp hill" on big holiday weekend nights before the rangers ever left the beach area. Even remember pulling people out of devils slide that were dumb enough to get cought at the bottom in various vehicles, well before anybody other then the vw rails / water pumpers had paddles on.
