New in SW Missouri
Hello all. I have been checking out a lot of info on this site and it has been very useful....So I decided to join. I currently have a 1984 GMC Sierra Classic 1500 short wide bed. I am the 3rd owner of this truck. I bought it from my neighbor and the truck has 74K original miles on it. He bought it at 32K miles from the guy who bought it new. The truck has been taken care of really good. I have all of the paper work (including the owners manual and all papers that came with it new...even the little tag describing the "all new cruise control!")and information from since the day it was new. The truck had been sitting in Woodward, OK since 2002, up until I purchased it a few weeks ago.
I have had an 85 Silverado SWB, and 83 SWB, 81 Silverado step-side, a 79 LWB and a 62 step side SWB. I haven't done much to this truck since I bought it....outside of giving it a good cleaning. I have been taking pictures of everything I have done since I got the truck. I will post some pics in the proper picture thread. Here's to many more posts!!!!!!
