Headlight dust boots
Last year I switched to Silverstar headlights and the relay mod, and was very happy with the increased light output. However, there is some light that escapes from the rear of the silverstar bulbs close to where the harness plugs in, and it shines into my engine bay. Sonce I have no inner fenders up front, it really shows at night. Did our trucks come origionally with dust boots on the headlight plugs, or does anyone know where I could order some? A set of these would fix my unwanted underhood lighting situation I have going on

Re: Headlight dust boots
Flat black paint will fix the problem. Spray the back side of the light, I also had this problem.

Re: Headlight dust boots
Thanks man! I was thinking of doing this, but I didnt know if it would burn back off. I will give it a shot soon and see how it works.
