Re: How about a show us you truck dropped thread?
nice! I cant make up my mind between 2 1/2 or 3 inch drop spindles. I am going with 18's on the front and 20's on the back. I dont plan on cutting the coils but if I need to i may. I just hope that is enough drop to fill the wheel well. I am gonna drop the rear 4 inches with shackles and relocaters as well. I dont wanna drop it crazy low, just enough to where you can tell its dropped you know?

Re: How about a show us you truck dropped thread?
6/8 drop Excuse the fuzzy memory, it's been about 15 years since I lowered it, but I'm pretty sure the math is 4" spindle (hard to come by these days from what I've heard) + 2" drop coil front, flip kit + 2" shackles in the back.

Here's mine. 3/4 drop with rear shackle. Made made by DJM, the front is a lower A arm with a recessed pocket for the stock spring with DJM shocks.

Re: How about a show us you truck dropped thread?
3/5. Djm shorter springs up front and flip kit on the back. No C notch. Looking at options to drop it another inch to 4/6. I know i'll need the c notch then but can someone tell me what i'll need to get it down? I don't want to cut the springs. The PO did it that way and it rode like a log truck.

You need a set of spindles in the front. They come in different lengths. I just put western chassis 2.5" spindles on mine. |
