Re: Family roll cages pic's?
Been searching all day, and can't find the old posts/pic's of the cage I saved way back. I had a bunch of pic's at one time, but now can only find one. It was a member here in southern Mi, not too far from me. It was a silver k5 with a full family cage with custom seat tubing included. It had extra y tubing and nice hand grips up by the windshield. Also had some kind of bedrail risers to cover the rear bedside tops. Ring a bell with anybody?

Re: Family roll cages pic's?
Here are a few. The blue Blazer belonged to a member (Dianne) quite a few years ago. I believe her husband at the time was a welder by trade and built this out of aluminum tube.
The Hickey advertisement was just posted recently.

Re: Family roll cages pic's?
Do the world a favor and stay away from aluminum material used as roll over protection.
Any competant race shop can built you a good cage. Or even a good offroad shop. The trucks are rare enough I doubt you'll find a good used one without buying a 2nd truck. Best of luck, I dig that last one shown. I'm going to turn my 4pt into a 6pt someday. I'll have to get the hardtop reinstalled to get fitment just right so its near the bottom of the list. Might do a family style bar at that point too. Erik |

Re: Family roll cages pic's?
I will ask him when I pick it up, I know he has said it is the standard s&w cage with an extra halo. He also said he regrets buying it, because it was really expensive and had to modify alot of it. So he would have been better off to start from scratch.
The hard dop does not fit without being "modified" he said he had to cut two golf ball sized holes to get it to sit on the bedrails. I will post up a bunch of pics when I get it. I am only buying it for alot of the high dollar items on it and repair what is needed, repaint, new tires and resale.

Re: Family roll cages pic's?
Found pic's of the cage I was looking for. It was over on ck5. The one I really like is made by addictedoffroad.com Going to pattern mine off that design. Trying to print pic's off his site, but wont work. Anybody got any pic's of that silver/gray k5 from a few years a go?
