rough idle help
So I took out the idle air control and broke it as i was putting it back in. I went out and bought a new one along with a new temp. sensor and its a little better. THe idle still goes up and down the minute i turn it on from a cold start. After a little time it idles perfect. Just to make things a little easier....Its a 350 with tbi with a butt load of sensors.
Any ideas?

I know this may not seem like any help, but you should pm RFMaster on here and see what he says. You should also try a search for tbi idle problems or something related to tbi, I know there are quite a few good replies already on the board for that. Sorry I can't be specific on how to fix your problem, I am still learning the ins and outs of tbi tuning myself.

There's two temp sensors. One for the computer and one for the gauge.

The CTS (coolant temp sensor, for the ECM) is on the intake, usually right in the front, by the water neck. The Temp sender (for the gauge) is in the driver's side head, between the #1 and #3 exhaust port.

also if you did change the right temp sensor if you didnt disconect your battery for about minute so it clears all codes the ECM will clear codes on its own with 50 ingnition cycles (I think its 50) ingnition cycles = ON/OFF
