Roof rust repair/prevention
Well like most of the east coast guys I am having a problem with roof rust. Its not in my budget to get a rust free arizona cab, but one without roof rust would be nice. I am supposed to go look at one in the next couple of days that supposedly has no roof rust or firewall rust. If it looks to be that way, how can I be sure there is not rust up in there? And if it truly does not have rust, how do I keep it from starting?

Re: Roof rust repair/prevention
For starters, make sure your drip rail sealer is in good shape, not cracked or shrunk. Then, make sure your windshield gasket is not dried/cracked/shrunk. Those are the two places they usually develop leaks.
