New to the Forum and about to get started on a !972 LWB build.
After a LONG wait and jumping thru hoops I finally acquired my Grand Daddy's 1972 Chevy that he got new.. It is a special truck to me because he practically raised me..(Long story) I want to make a daily driver not necessarily a show truck out of her but I do want to build it to be a nice truck. The one thing I am tossing around is the paint. This one is Blue with the white top. At the same time my grand Daddy had this truck my Daddy had one that was Black with the white top. Soooo...I am thinking of taking my Grand Daddy's truck and painting it like my Daddy's truck...kind of like Honoring them both with one truck... I know there will be more expense in doing it this way...what do think of this idea?? |

Re: New Member Here
Congrats on the new aquisition. Pretty cool that it's been in your family all these years. Theres quite a few people on here who bought their truck new or someone in their family did. I think that's awesome. Theres a thread about it here somewhere. Good luck. Take a hose to that beast and start takin some pics!!
