FInding the leak in my cab.

So I seem to have a leak in the back of my cab. I can't see water on the back walk, but I have a wet spot near dead center where the tank was. What is a good way to locate it? Where might it be from?

Everything is out of the cab right now.

maybe get in it with the doors shut and windows up, and have someone soak it with a water hose... maybe there is a rust pinhole in the roof or back window that is letting water in? maybe the seam in the rear window gasket is dried up and seperated?

Re: FInding the leak in my cab.

My guess would be the gutter along the roof. I bet the seam sealer is cracked. All 3 of my trucks were this way. It must be chipped out and re-done if it's in bad condition.

I was thinking the same thing. It was nice yesterday, so I got all the old stuff out and cleaned out the loose rust. I put down a coat of rust converter and will apply the new seam sealer today when I get home.

No rain for the next 3 days, no time like now in this area. Thanks for the replies, lets hope it works.
