i love the double hump dash i was wondering if it would fit in my 66. does anyone know if it will bolt up just like the original straight dash and just weld the spot welds back on?

Not without some fabrication work. The perimeter is a different shape because of the wrap around windshield on the 60-63 models.

We're doing this in my son's truck, for us the transition from dash to door is kinda frenched for the a-pillar of a cage. The leading edge of the dash falls into place...

Re: will a 62 dash board fit in a 66 with no mods
1 of the bolts ligned up in mine for reference, ( 61 chevy dash into my 65 gmc crew cab ). If I remember there was a gap on either side tho and it needs about a 3/8" spacer inbetween the dash and cab. The 60-63 dash must be a smidge shorter. When i get down to my shop in the next week I will try to snap a couple pics. Those 60-63 dashes are so dang sexy with that double humpidy-hump!!

I think the best way for you to get a 63 dash is to ...........just install the whole cab and then think how cool you'll be !!! Sorry I am just a bit biased , I love the 63 windsheild ....
