Tubular Control Arms
Say I wanted to someday buy these for my 73 when I redo the front end. Seems there is no spot for the coil spring? Does that mean a coilover takes place? Also if there is anyone running this type of CA how do you like them?
Lower Upper

Re: Tubular Control Arms
you can get em for coil spring's, coil over's or air bag's. most manufacture's make all three type's. I have some for my MonteCarlo that take the coil spring and a set for the Dually that take an air bag, however I have to be home to install either set.

Re: Tubular Control Arms
I had those arms and there is a spot for the coil spring. Right in the center of the lower arms. The spring sits around the tube sticking out of the lower plate.

Re: Tubular Control Arms
I have those same Lower and Uppers built by DJM and sold by Summit. It was cheaper to buy from Summit than directly from DJM. There is a place for the coil springs. Still have good ride height but I'm going to go another 2" lower using their coil springs.
