Raising the front end
My 87 has 2 and one half inch drop spindles, and 2 inch shorter coil springs. It has a flip kit on the rear. The rear is about 3 inches higher then the front. I plan to install the original front coils to raise the front up 2 inches. What do you think? And were can I get ball joint boots? I will probably tear the lower boots up getting the springs out. Thanks.

Re: Raising the front end
My truck has a flip kit with 2.5" spindles and 2" coils...I always thought just going up an inch would level things out...But I guess you can try the stock springs, and then just cut them if it's tool tall.
You can get the tie rod boots from energy suspension, from summit racing, or ebay or what not. Last edited by lilpoindexter; 04-22-2011 at 11:43 PM. |
