parting 75 C30
I am parting this 1975 C30.
I took the front suspension. I am keeping the wheels. I am keeping the rearend. My brother-in-law took the tach dash. Cab is shot, but I will cut patch panels from it if wanted, usual lower parts are rusted. What I have torn off and prices: $150 Manual tilt column, seems tight, lower cover slid down when removing, I am not familiar with these columns so thought I should mention that. $50 decent front bumper with brackets $75 each door SOLD DRIVERS DOOR $50 each fender $150 flatbed $50 hitch $50 complete cab I can get pictures of everything. If there is something else you want let me know and I will price it. I will not ship large parts. I can get the column shipped, and maybe some cab patch panels, but that's going to be the extent of shipping the larger parts.

Re: parting 75 C30
Hello,
How's the frame? May be interested in the leaf spring crossmember (and supports) if not rusted. Not sure how bad rust is in South Dakota, figured I'd check . Thanks, Joe P.S. - Any pics of the rearmost spring hangers? Need a set for my K30. Pretty sure 2WD are shorter, but not 100%... Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: parting 75 C30
Pictures of the corssmember. Looks decent to me. Some flaky stuff on the support, the last picture I had wiped some away with my hand. It will be tough to tell if it's really rusty until I pull it out, but I think it's fine. If you think you may be interested I can pull it out and get you better pictures.

Doesn't look too bad. I am definitely interested, depending on cost. Shipping would be to 17740. I can Fab one out of channel, so I hate to spend a fortune. I realize your time is worth money and shipping will be a little high though. Any idea on cost shipped? As said, definitely interested. Just want to get a rough cost before I ask you to take the time and trouble to remove it. Let me know what your have in mind and we'll go from there . Thanks, Joe Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: parting 75 C30
If you had caught me a couple weeks ago I would be very slow responding. I am guessing on weight and measurements, but looks like parcel post is around $35 and priority around $50. What's the crossmember worth? $30? So $30 plus shipping? Does that push it too high? Not high enough??

Re: parting 75 C30
Frame is great.
Which crossmember, the one in front of the rearend or behind it? Let me know which and I will inspect it closer and get you pictures. Below is a picture of the rear spring hanger, but for now I am keeping it. I am taking the rearend with the springs and hangers and not selling extras until I get the rearend under my 67. I may put the rearend under my 67 with springs and hangers from the 75.

On a side note, does this have a rear tank, or is that part of a hitch hanging below the frame in the pic? Thanks, Joe Posted via Mobile Device |

That is the hitch hanging down. I will get pictures, it's dark now, and I may not have time tomorrow. If I don't reply by Monday send me a PM.

Is this the part you are looking for? If so I can look at it better tomorrow, if it looks decent I will pull it and get better pictures for you.

Re: parting 75 C30
Brian where are the plastic tabs that usually break? I play with 67-72's and not familiar with the newer trucks.

Re: parting 75 C30
Non-AC cab is right. I will check it out and get back to you. Same as my reply above, if you don't hear back by Monday shoot me a PM. Probably be a long day tomorrow hiding easter eggs, eating food, and trying to keep up with the kids.

Re: parting 75 C30
I need the defroster duct if it isn't broken or damaged...the one that attaches to the underside of the dash and is shaped kind of like a "Y". My zip is 55448

Re: parting 75 C30
This one looks nice to me, just a little dirty. Take a look at the pictures and let me know what you think. It's a heck of a lot bigger than I was expecting. How about $10 plus actual shipping?

Re: parting 75 C30
I'll take it! Please make sure the vents on top are not cracked or broken, as they are visible from the top side of the dash. Also, please pad it well when packaging, these are a lot more brittle than I though, the last one I got was damaged during shipping. Thanks!

The emblem isn't great, although you could replace it. The third picture shows a scratch. The fourth picture shows some sort of residue, looks like someone had a sticker on it a long time ago. I didn't try to remove it. The fifth picture shows some white marks, almost like the woodgrain is wearing thin there.
