steering gear swap--'78 to'71
Greetings Guys,
The power steering gear on my '71 c/20 Longhorn went out. I got a buddy who has a '78 chevy 1/2 ton truck. Will his steering gear bolt right into mine? It looks like it will, but just wanted to verify with you guys. Thanks mario

Yes, it will bolt on, as long as the donor truck is a 2 wd. Into the 80's, they went to a metric box.......that will bolt on also, but the hose/line fittings are different. good luck,crazyL
