New truck for me!

Picked up this really nice 75 from board member phishninmn (Zach)...and boy am I happy. First off, let me say Zach is quite the guy and this transaction was flawless...thanks man! Now, for the truck. 1975 C10 with factory 454/400, dual exhaust, dual tanks, wood ext trim, wood bed floor, cold A/C and in one of my favorite colors, Crimson Red w/white top. 97,xxx orig miles, unmolested, and everything works as it should. Will be the perfect work truck and tow rig for when I bring Yeller to the track. Anyhow, just wanted to share, and give Zach his props for the great transaction and what I felt was a great deal. Truck made the 3.5 hour trip home without missing a beat...GREAT highway manners! I'll post more pics Sunday.

Re: New truck for me!

Jeff you scored again. That looks to be a really clean truck, and an awesome color combo. I can't wait to see more pics of it so I can be totally envious.

Re: New truck for me!

Nice. I looked at it a couple times myself.

Lower it 2.5/4 ,15x7 and 15x10 Rallys and a sport bumper and call it done .

Re: New truck for me!

All I plan to do to this truck is to add a rear sport bumper, 15x8 rally wheels, recover the seat, add a receiver hitch, fix the cracked mirrors, and drive it. I want/need a truck that doesn't need work an wont tempt me to spend tons of money on it customizing it. I am not a big lowered longbed fan, so the stance will not be changing.

Re: New truck for me!

I think it is asking for polished factory alloys on Radial T/A's, Jeff. That's what I am hearing.

I concur Jon. I would have never expected it to have gray interior. Thats pretty neat looking.

That's a unique color combo, can't say that I've ever seen a pickup around here with wood paneling. Sure looks straight!

Re: New truck for me!

I am glad to hear the truck made it back with no issuse. I am sure you will be better to it than I would have been, because I bought it as a parts truck. Good luck with it. Now the search is on for my next one.
