Time To Re-Assemble - Need Priority List
We picked up our first painted parts on Saturday. The cab and doors. Dropped off the cowl, hood and front fenders and expect it will probably take a week for that paint job and then we'll drop off the bed and rear fenders.
Now it's time to put it back together and I'm a little overwhelmed because taking it apart wasn't all that hard. Putting it back together seems to be something I'm gonna struggle with. I'm trying to prioritize my list so we can get focused on one item at a time. Here's kinda what I was thinking and I'd like to know if any of you guys see any problems with this plan and can point me in the right direction. 1. Cab a. Buy weather seals and hang the doors back on it. b. Clean up and paint and re-install the door windows and mechanisms. c. Install the guage cluster d. Steering column e. Front and Rear Glass f. Carpet g. Seat 2. Engine and Transmission 3. Steering Gear Box 4. Radiator Support 5. Cowl 6. Front Fenders

that looks like a good plan of attack to me. Make sure you do everything under the dash before you put the seat in, it's so much easier.

CAB
guages column front rear glass carpet seat......this gets all the inside stuff done with out fighting the doors hang the doors and get everything lined up ( and strikers) put in your glass and regs in put on your seals the other stuff looks good but you need to put your fenders before your cowl and I like to do the hood too so theres not chance of chipping the piant on either ( put a thick blanket on the cowl when you swing the hood up) keep in mond we want tons of pics Jeff

Re: Time To Re-Assemble - Need Priority List
I would also assemble everything that goes on the firewall (inside and out) and frame, before engine, trans, fenders, etc.
