1972 SWB 4X4 Build Thread
Hello everyone. I just bought my truck back about a month ago. I was forced to sell it in 2003 to finance my divorce. Made me sick but had no choice. I recently ran into the guy I sold it to and bought it back. I'm still on cloud nine. Enough about that. In the near future it will be stripped down to the frame for a total resto. I spoke with Gene, a board member also in Oklahoma inquiring about the body man he used and he asked me if I had a build thread started so I thought I would post a couple of pics of the truck as it sits currently. I have frequented this board off and on since 2002 and just wanted to say everyone on here has been beyond helpful and a joy to talk to and learn from. I'm sure I will have dozens of questions for you guys in the months to come. I'm stoked to be back!
Chuck Misener "Rangers Lead The Way" p.s. I'm having trouble getting my pictures posted. I'm working on it. Last edited by fireman_in_tulsa; 05-03-2011 at 08:30 PM. Reason: pictures |

Ok boys there she is. Gene thanks for all your help and advice on potential body men in the tulsa area. I definetly dont want to tear this girl down until I have all the money required to do the build but I gotta get started sometime.
