Anybody know about 1962 Chrysler Newport's?
Well, a few days ago my friends mom showed me a car that she had saw at the Great Mukilteo Garage sale where every house in the town of Mukilteo (or at least most) had a garage sale an she saw this really really nice '62 Newport for sale.
I went an saw the car today. Drove it an drives GREAT! Other than having drum brakes, it was really nice! Has a 383, type-writer drive tranny, and 82,000 original miles. Its a 4 door hardtop. I was just wondering what those of you who have seen and owned these cars thought of them. Thanks |

383 with a 727 trans is a great combo. They ride great. What else do you need to know? How much is it? I have a couple of 65 mopars myself.
