Stock tires and rims
Any ideas on what would have been stock on a 1970 C20? Tire brand? Any suggestions on new rims that would be close to original stock?

Re: Stock tires and rims
My 69'er C/20 has 16 x 7 Ford truck/van rims that I found on Ebay.
I don't know what the stock tire brand should be, but I have Michelin LTX MS2 265/75/16 tires. I think a slightly narrower tire - 235/85/16 - which is the same height as my 265's would be closer to stock.

Too bad these are 8 hours away, they seem like a good deal. By the time you clean them and powdercoat them, it would still be cheaper than buying something new.

Re: Stock tires and rims
Thanks for the info guys. I'll just have to keep my eye out and see if anything might pop up locally. Or I could always take a drive down to Summit and get something from them.

Re: Stock tires and rims
stock tires pretty much depended on what vendor delivered tires to GM the day b4 the truck was built there were more than one vendor of tires an different in different parts of the country
all the tires on these trucks were biasply belted tires
