There's a '67 in u-pull & pay here in orlando. It has a P/S gearbox that does not require the frame indentation. I looked at it, and the frame rail is flat where the box is bolted up. Just thought someone may be looking for something like that.

Not sure if the pump is there. I don't know what the shipping to Ct would be. These weigh about 30# I would guess. Then you have to pack it pretty sturdy. The cost at the yard is $35.00. Not sure when I would get back there. Possibly next Saturday. How would it be packed & shipped?

$35 + shipping...don't forget to figure your time. Maybe the box was spaced off the frame. Are you saying that p/s is listed as an option? Wouldn't it be like any other p/s box anyone could buy locally? Who's to say if that box is even any good?

I've never seen one. If you do go back and it's there see if you can take a pic.

btw: I just removed mine. AIN'T FUN. On your back with a cheater pipe and the special pitman arm removal tool. These things weigh about 30 lbs and UPS is not cheap these days. If someone asked me to do the work I'd have to charge about 2 hrs labor at going rate.

I guess I didn't really think about my time & labor. I just remembered seeing a lot of posts about problems with the frame indentation for the gear box. I noticed this one didn't have it, or in fact need it. The box itself looks pretty clean. Also it appears to be FOB original. But I'm old, I could be wrong!
I found this one when I was there pulling a P/S set up & sway bar out of a '70 C30 Camper Special.

Yeah,I figured this was a very helpful and informative bit of info you were offering...and it is. I just found it odd that someone would turn it into a sale thread of a part that isn't yours nor being offered. Like getting drafted

. I've showed vehicles I've seen for sale and had people ask me to go back and get more pictures and info,when it took a 40-50 mile round trip,then never even respond once I posted it up.
