Smile Pulley help on all Trucks from 1964--72

Its been a question on a lot of peoples mind.About brackets Pulleys where they mount up what peace are needed to make the belt's run true.

Many of us Need help on

250 inline Six

292 Inline Six

327 V8 Small Block

350 V8 Small Block

400 V8 Small Block

396 V8 Big block Now GM had 2 396's Most of your 396 had 2 bolt mains Vett's had 4 bolt

402 V8 Big Block A 30 Over 396 block Blocks that would not clean up to stock Bore Blems

427 V8 Big Block Now GM had 3 427's one was the 2 bolt and the Vett had the 4 bolt

Now there was a tall Deck 427 Like the 366 that came in the 2 ton a above trucks low end Hp engines



454 V8 Big Block Came Late 1971 trucks

Now I need your help people are are so many people in Need of Knowing what pulley and brackets go to each Engine

We need to Know what it will take the Put a A6 compressor back on are old chevy and GMC trucks that Had

Inline 6 250- 292 engines

V8 small blocks 283-327-350-400

V8 Big Blocks 396-402-454.

I hear a lot of guys asking for pictures with the brackets off the engine and on the engine

Like ALT brackets Driver's side and Passenger side We need Input on why they put it on eather side of the engine Block.

Power steering brackets Need pictures with them on and off what it takes to make them work with the Pulleys.

Transmission swaps from the Power glide to the 700R4 need help on how many inches it take to cut down the drive shaft on a long bed and and short bed.How far to move the cross member back

There are so many New guys getting into this sport or this way of life and there trying.

Need pictures on Power brake booster mounted and Not mounted what brackets they need for this to work any Idea's or short cuts to make it easyer for the weekend Dad or Son Or wife or Girl to do it right and do it safe.

This site is one of the best I've seen But we need to make it more user friendly And pictures and people willing to show what to do any Not to will save time and life's and these old trucks from headed to the junk Yard

I've done my best on this site I'm been wrong on a few things in here But that's why we need this kinda information and pictures really do say a 1000 words

So members and None members Please help us Help others in getting these trucks back on the road there so Close

Great post, thats exactly what I am doing now, trying to find pics of the correct power steering brackets for a 307v8.
