Removing Bed Floor but...

Is it possible to remove the bed floor but keep the bed sides? Im looking to do this for my project but im not entirely sure if you can do it..

I assume im going to have to pull the entire bed off to do this, which isnt really that much of a problem. But my main concern is if ill need struts to keep the bedsides in place.

And just for you guys that i KNOW are gunna give me a hard time... I dont even use my bed, This is mainly turning into a play truck. and street driving is mild.

Thanks in advance, let me know if anything needs clarification!

the bedsides bolt to the bed floor and there are eight bolts (all metal longbed) that hold the bed to the chassis. Without the bed floor you would have to fabricate some kind of system to hold the bed to the chassis.. I have a bed ill be scrapping and illt ry to take some pics and post
