Lube Question...

I just came into a tilt column for my '72 C10, 4WD, manual transmission. Do any of you recommend a particular type of grease lube to use when installing this column? I'm just wondering what is normally done on the splines. Thanks.

i've always just put a light coating of white lithium grease on them
