Question about drop spindels
I am getting ready to lay out my 66 C-20 finally. The question I have is will stock steel wheels work with 2.5 or 3" drop spindels? I remember back in 98 I slammed my 98 chevy and when I put the drop spins on the truck would not roll with the stocks, even with 17's I had to trim the lower a arms. My 66 is getting the suspension from a 82 c 20.

Re: Question about drop spindels
Stock steel wheels made before 1971 won't clear the disc brake caliper.
Use a '71-up wheel and you will be fine.
