rust remover

what is a good way to remover rust in tight spot like behind the door handle(inside the door). i cant put a sander in there. any spray on or bush on stuff.

maybe spray a rust converter on it just to convert/prevent spreading would be an idea (if appearance doesn't matter - i.e. like inside a door). Not sure if that helps - but something like brushed POR15 or sprayed Corroless.
