A/C question
64 c10 stock motor.I live in SWt Florida. It's hot!!! And humid!!!! I know about classic air but I'm not in a position to spend $1200. Is there a junk yard find I can make work. I have access to a full machine shop so brackets are not a problem . Got a buddy who can make hoses for me too. As far as "factory look' as long as its not a window shaker hanging out of the passenger window, I'd be happy with it. Any suggestions?

Re: A/C question
try Vintage air, Antique air, or others who also sell components which would allow you to mix and match to make a system. If you want to keep the stock heater add a vintage air Mark IV under dash unit, then add other components compressor , expansion valve, trinary switch, dryer, and (condenser or evaporator) the under dash unit contains one of these you need the other in front of the radiator. Kieth thats what I am doing with my 66 gmc since I have all the other components out of a 91 burb......

Re: A/C question
I always thought a Wagoneer or Grand Cherokee (the big ones) underdash A/C might work in one of these trucks.
It's A/C only, on the ones I have seen. |

Re: A/C question
I would start looking for one of those dash hanger type units, preferably one that still works. then you can get a condenser and stuff when $ is available. go new on that stuff, you would be glad you did.
