Ok heres my Q? I have a 67 swb that I am in the prosses of bagging I just put disk brakes up front and got rid of thoses drums I have a rear end out if a newer truck and the rear axle does not have the bar . Can I run this axle or does it have to have the track bar on it like the old one? The truck is not going to see alot of hi-way miles expet back and forth to car shows and the every once and awhile saturday night cruise. Any info will be great thanks alot B.

I just read an article on swaping newer axles into and older truck in the april isue of clasic trucks, they said that you have to use the pan hard bar but that early classic enterprises seles a super track bar ket that atatches to the passenger side axle tube instead of the pumpkin.hope this helps, www.earlyclasic.com

If you have trailing arms and coils, you must run a track bar. It will keep the rear end centered. The trailing arms will not do the job by themselfs. Early Classics is the one you want.

im not trying to change this post but to those of you that have ran an adjustable tracking bar, how much adjustment do you have? like from side to side im wondering this because i performed a body drop on my truck and i lowerd the rear frame rails down maked the stock panhard bar mount to low. so i cut it off and i was wondering if i could relocate the mount and have enough adjustability.
