Oil cooler??
Sup everyone,
I'm in the process of my 6.0 swap on my 72 Cheyenne. My question is, how necessary is the stock oil cooler? I am thinking about blocking it off. I'm not sure, what's your opinion? I have an aluminum LS conversion radiator. I will be posting my swap thread with pictures. Posted via Mobile Device Last edited by Bigo Serge; 06-12-2011 at 03:50 PM. |

Re: Oil cooler??
oil cooler is not mandatory. Some trucks didn't come with them stock, depending on the application. If you see that you are having temp problems, you may want to consider running one.

Re: Oil cooler??
something to keep in mind, the Hot Rod oil pan (for extra clearance) includes this block off plate
