where to buy chevy suburban custom trim????

i have been looking all around to find some suburban custom trim does anyone know where i could get it ? does anyone know how many suburbans were made with the custom trim? i have seen more custom trim GMCs than chevys any information would be a great help thanks

I know that trim is not reproduced. I can't say I've ever seen a set on ebay either. I know I'm not much help but that's what I've seen.

i have only seen it on ebay 1 or 2 times, i wish they sold it for the gmc my truck has it but it would be nice to get some nice new stuff for it!!!!

I did sell a set that went to England, I think I sold them for a 100 bucks or so.

The guy ended up having a set for the gmc, the one that goes around the windows uptop and on the bottom and he is asking 300. damn this things are expensive

How is the custom trim attached?
How do you remove it without damaging the suburban or the trim?

Just put a plastic spatula and gently pry it up.

That trim has both spring clips and nutted clips. The nutted clips are inside the door. You can find replacements for both-they are the same as the pickup clips, but differ in number of each style.

Wow that trim is hard to find¡ i did get a pair of the rear long custom section they are a little rough but i sanded and buffed a section ity came out good i will get some pics hopefully i can find a pair of the door trim

Wow, you've got some work ahead of you. But at least you found the important pieces. I don't remember for sure, but the Suburban Custom trim may have used the 'spear' the same as the trucks did on the front fender. I'll have to take a look at mine tomorrow to be sure. The other piece on the door may be able to be made from a piece of pickup trim.
