Can I swap a 68 steering box with a 72?

Any problem with installing a 72 ps box into a 68 frame originally non ps?

Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

You will need to examine your frame where the gearbox mounts, if its a early 1968 frame it will not be dished inward where the gearbox mounts to have room to accept the larger powersteering gearbox, if its a late 1968 frame it will be dished in and you can mount the gearbox without modifications. If the frame is not dished we do carry a kit engineered to allow the installation of a power steering gearbox on the early frame you will find the ones we carry at this link if needed

GMCPaul, thanks for the info. I should hopefully get the truck over the weekend and I'll check it out. Can it be easily seen with the manual steering box in place?

Thanks again.
