Unhappy always happens when i'm short on cash

went over to my ex's today for a fathers day dinner and went across the street to a neighbor's house to check out a hot rod small block he's building. during our B.S. session he tells me they are selling grandpa's 72 chevy custom/20 4x4. it's grapefruit yellow, p-s, p-b, a-c, mostly original paint very minor rust and very straight body. it's stock height and has new rims and tires and a built vortec under the hood. then he tells me i can have it for 3 grand. they were asking 6 grand last time it was up for sale then took it off the market for a while but now decided they don't need/want it anymore so they lowered the price. i don't have that much excess cash right or i'd buy it as a daily driver.

Exclamation Re: always happens when i'm short on cash

well, i have access to the cash now so i guess i'll have to go check it out a little closer. my dad offered the money if i want it but i'd have to sell one of my trucks to pay him back and i'd have to swap the options/accessories i've added to mine over to the "new" one. decisions decisions

Doesn't sound like a decision to me

Sounds like it worked out for the best. Get the truck you want and add the nice features from the truck you sell to recoup the $$$

Re: always happens when i'm short on cash

Heck, I could not afford a good deal now if I found one, but glad things are working out for you.

What little I had put back is being used for a trip out to California via South Dakota and Eastern Oregon. Gasoline prices are sure tough, especially in the small towns in the mountains.
