Would you buy this truck for 1000?

Seems like a pretty good deal, I;m thinking it would be worth it for the cab, front clip, then make a trailer out of the rear. Price is about a grand or a tad more but the cab has no rust except for rockers. Mounts, corners, visors, firewall, kicks, and floor look good. Pretty tough to find in MN. No engine and it has a 4 speed. Here are some pics

I'd drop a motor in it and enjoy it as is. Around these parts, that's a 2500$ truck

Re: Would you buy this truck for 1000?

Jud, It would be on the if line around here. For your area I'd say yes, because if you have to buy one out of state you know what gas/diesel prices are, it don't take long to add up. If your needing it I'd definately say yes

If the cab is that nice (only rust in rockers) and the front clip is nice I'd say yes...

Re: Would you buy this truck for 1000?

Randy, i could really use acab for my 67 and have decided to start hauling , storing firewood in pickup box trailers so that would be nice too. Think the rust free doors and fenders would sell good round here

Be a real shame to part it out. It looks like a decent truck with lots of life left in it!

Save it!

Re: Would you buy this truck for 1000?

What some of guys don't realize, he is not in your area. Minn trucks are rusty. I just made a 9 hour round trip to get a blazer, thats basically $200 worth of gas and and not counting time. For him to get a truck like that hauled into Minn shipping would cost him $800 or more

Re: Would you buy this truck for 1000?

Exactly, The price on everything 67-72 sheetmetal is higher here in the rust belt. Shipping a truck from CA or SC would be the price of this truck, shipping alone!!!!!!!

Re: Would you buy this truck for 1000?

I bought this 67 in Va. For $700.00. I feel like thats a give away here, shoulda been $1000.00 but he was dumping it. Was rusty but some one stopped it with chemical treatment. Half A'd a rocker replacement. I didn't blink when I said I'd take it.
