Looking to buy a small inexpensive vacumn gauge for setting carb checking fuel pump pressure etc

Whatchall think about this one?

Probably a good deal for the money. It looks very similar (the dial details are different) to one I've had for many years. It's even the same diameter, with the same length hose. I've only used it a few times but it still works just fine.

looks exactly the same as the one i got from sears..
they are about 20 bucks there.

Got it today!!!

Which port on my carb do I hook it up to (left/right) (edelbrock 1406)?

I hooked it up to the right port (full manifold, sucks at idle, right?)

The guage jumps like crazy from 10-15. I have a 'thumper' 279 .479 lift cam

I havent got my total timing dialed in I guess thats next. Sometimes its hard to start etc etc
