My 70 GMC 402 has 8-396 fender badges below the side marker lights...I heard GMC's didn't come with cubic inch badges, is this correct?
I have seen them with 8-396 and 8-400 badges, if they did come on the truck which would be correct for a 70? And is the location under the marker lights correct? My assembly manual shows several different versions of this.

Thanks Rick, my 72 Custom Camper doesn't have them either, it is a small block. Would the Big Blocks be any different?

my 70 doesn't either and it's a small block as well.

There seems to be a lot less info available on these GMC's compared to Chevy's, did I hear something about a fire somewhere that destroyed some records?
