my 1968 GMC 3/4 ton build.
some of you may remember this truck when i bought it some 3-4 yrs. ago. it's a '68 GMC 3/4 ton, 305 v-6, 4 speed and dana 60. no other options.....
it has been in several phases of dispare and repair since i had owned it. i mostly use it around my place hauling and moving stuff around and a cruise down some back road from time to time. my plan is to be finished with it before the next swapmeet in Decatur, TX in september. i plan on hauling my goods there with it and hopefully finding a new home for the truck. this is my first restore / repair / paint all myself. i learned alot and still need alot more practice..... |

Re: my 1968 GMC 3/4 ton build.
GMC made those and installed them on their trucks? Wow. Must be a city truck. Theres a guy on here has a pink truck. Real nice truck, wonder if his has those. Like the blue and 3/4 ton.

Wow - that looks great. What is it about these trucks that they look so good in the original colors?

Y'all go ahead and make fun of Rusty's valve covers. He's gonna laugh last though, those plaid V6 valve covers are worth some real coin.

Re: my 1968 GMC 3/4 ton build.
True statement. When i first got my 67 it came with one of those covers new in the box. I had no clue what it was worth so I put it on ebay and got $372 and some change for it. For 1 valve cover. Can't imagine what a set would have brought.
