Question What motor mounts are these?

These motor mounts were in my 69 stepside when I bought it but don't appear to be original.

Anyone know what these could be from?

Thanks,

Bob

73-87. You can tell by the two raised ribs on them.

Re: What motor mounts are these?

I didn't remove them so not sure if there were any holes drilled for them. They do just bolt in though. 3 bolts each.

I just swapped a 350 that was in my truck to a 454 with no problems. Even the headers cleared nicely.

Is that towers and all? The towers don't look to me like anything from a 67-72,at least in that picture.

Re: What motor mounts are these?

and those are a lot safer because they will restrict the movement of the engine if/when the rubber mounts fail.

Re: What motor mounts are these?

They appear to be bolt-in. Are there any holes cut out to make those work?

Re: What motor mounts are these?

Also interested to see. This looks like an altogether better system than the original style. Also looks like it would be easier to install and remove the engine with these.

Re: What motor mounts are these?

That's a great write up! Not sure if the PO of my truck did the oblong hole thing or not. Engine is in and ready to fire so I'll not know that for a long time!
