Thinking of putting 20x8 Eagle 212's on my 1972 swb GMC 2wd that has coils. Will they clear without rubbing? Anybody have these wheels on there truck? Any pics out there? Thanks

9/16?? are you sure... that wheel must really stick out. What you do is you measure from the where the hub would mount to the edge of the wheel. make sure the wheel is flat and measure going up. Hope that helps, but 9/16" would not be the back spacing unless someone realy messed up. With an 8inch wheel the back spacing should from my best guess 4 inches and the rear 4.5 inches.
If you want a picture on how to measure it i can post one. |

Goto www.wheelsforless.com as it has a great tech center that will help you with proper back spacing. If it is a normal 8" rim with 9/16 that translates to 4" plus 9/16 in most cases. Trust me, make sure. Because it is next to impossible to return rims once they have been mounted. Triple check back inside too.

20x8 wheels
Yes, the wheels will work.
I have 20x10 on the rear, and 20x8 on the front. You can see them on the truck at: myrodshop.com/blazer.html |

It has to be a min of 4.5" backspacing. TRUST ME!! I put my 20's on and they tuck but it is close 5" backspacing would be better and if it is a 9/16 with only 4" of backspace they WON'T tuck.

Just make sure you turn them hard right and left to the stops with mounted rubber. Also, depending on how much you drop the front, be careful that fended well rim does not grab the tire tread when turning andbacking down a ramp. Mine did. Went to 17s instead.

doesnt it make a differance on what rear you have in your truck? my 69 is a few inches shorter than the 71 parts truck I have! and are the trucks all the same width in the front?
