HI GUYS, I PLAN ON USING THE 68 FRONT CLIP ON MY 70 BLAZER. I WANT TO USE THE 68 TRIM ALSO, I KNOW THAY IT WILL HAVE TO BE SHORTENED TO WORK ON THE QUARTER PANEL. I REALLY HAVE NEVER REALLY SAW 68 TRIM UP CLOSE AND DO NOT WANT TO BUY IT IF IT WILL NOT WORK. MY BIGGEST WORRY IS HOW WIDE IS IT FROM TOP TO BOTTOM, ON THE BEDSIDE PIECE IN THE FRONT OF THE BED? IS IT ONE WIDTH OR DOES IT NARROWER OR WIDEN OUT????? C

OULD SOME ONE MEASURE THEIR TRIM?? THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!!!

moved, please avoid using all CAPS as well... it's considered yelling and difficult to read...

as far as your trim question goes, it's all the same width 2 3/8" and 1 3/4 over the wheels.

jaros44sr is doing the same thing with his blazer so i'd talk to him...

this trim is very easy to shorten. here is what you need

an this,

and just grind the trim down its best to cut it close to the size you need then grind it down to the area you need

I considered doing the same to mine, but the price of the trim has halted my plans of it...

I have never seen a blazer with it, but a couple photoshops have been done and it looks good. From past threads, you'd need to cut down the bed piece and then roll it over and finish it off for a "perfect" match.

I thought too I read somewere about the rear fender line not being right over the wheel well, but I couldn't find that thread again later, so I might have imagined it.
