should I weld C notch?
Just did a rear flip on my 1980 using the Belltech kit and Nitro 2 drop shocks. Went really well but would you guys recommend I weld the c notch or are the 6 grade 8 bolts good enough?
Rick

Re: should I weld C notch?
plenty of C notches safely on the road that are simply bolted in ... welding wouldn't hurt anything at all, but it's not necessary.

Re: should I weld C notch?
Just bolting it in would actually be better than welding because welding would create more of a stress riser than just bolting it.

Re: should I weld C notch?
If you know how to weld and have the equipment to do so, I would weld it in. I have bolted in a bunch of them, now that I have the proper equipment and knowledge I would never bolt one in again.
