Cab / Emergency brake Question
So I have been advised to look for a new cab for my 68 c-10. So I'm in the market for a rust free one. Any how my question comes down to the mounting and the use of the 68 emergency brake lever on a later cab. Is that possible and has anyone done it before. I want to keep it cause it looks cool and most importantly its correct. So I'm hoping to find a 68 cab but dont think I will.

Re: Cab / Emergency brake Question
use of a 67 or 68 cab no worries (exits below the steering column)....69-72 have foot operated ebrakes that exits to the left of the fuse block on the firewall so some fab work may need to be done....

Re: Cab / Emergency brake Question
That's the route I have to take. My replacement cab is a '68, and everything else is '69. The earlier cab didn't come with the ebrake ass'y. My '69 ass'y won't work in this cab. So, Lokar gets the nod or I have to do some sheet metal work...which I can't do.
It'll match my other Lokar gas/brake pedals....but another post today says Lokar has direct-fit pedals. Mo money, mo money, mo money.
