CST,... is the top of the line truck in '69 and '70.
Sounds like a good one to save.
Got any pics?

Re: Looked at a 1970 CST today !!!

I'm like that. I see one that needs me & buy it. That one sounds good but look it over good & think hard about it. I bought one way out in Colorado one time, hauled it back & found it was a piece of junk. All i'm saying is dont buy it from emotions.

Being in your right mind is very over rated. Take it from someone who has never tried to be. Isn't being all screwed up on these trucks a better way to go???? I think so!!! Mwah hah hah hahCuckoo Cuckoo for cocopuffs

If I went the way of reason my truck would be in a junk yard. It's the love of restoring and the end result that make it all worth it. I think YOU SIR are more than qualified and understand.

Re: Looked at a 1970 CST today !!!

Well it has only took two months!!!! But I did call the guy one last time made him my final offer this evening and he said yes so I am going to get it Monday and YES I will take pictures. Just turned 46 Thursday and thought Happy Birthday to me. It is funny how I could really use a new truck but continue to spend my money on old trucks. Every since I was a youg boy these truck have caught my eye it is a life long love affair. O well stay tuned for Monday I am going to do a build thread but I honestly thinking I am going to go with the Patina look like my old 72 Burb I had. I really wished I would of never sold her. O Well till Monday!!!!

Call me strange, personally I think it's worth investing in our trucks over new.
