Can anyone tell me if I can install a 275 x 60 tire on a 10" wide rim? Any info is appreciated.

I have 275 x 60 R15's on my Chevelle. They fit great and look great! I doubt you can see from my picture that I have on my website.

Yes.....I have a 71 with 275/60's on a 15x10" rim with 4 1/2" backspacing all the way around. I can post a pic if you want.

Yes, but Im running 275/40 18s on 10 inch wheels on the back of my 94. They look great. Same width, just lower profile sidewall.

YEAH THEY'LL FIT. I HAD 275/60-15'S ON 10" RIMS. THEY KINDA GET A LITTLE LOOK LIKE THE RIM IS WIDER THAN THE TREAD THOUGH.

That tire is really better suited to 8 inch rims. 295/60-15's would be better for a 10 inch .

I am running Toyo 60/285s in the back on 17x9 Cragar ss's. Had to adust the stops on the front with 60/255s on the same rims. My drop is 3.5 front and about 5 in rear. The 255s ride the 17x9 well too. Check with the tire people as MikeP may be right. Finally, DO NOT buy any rims until you are sure they fit the way you want. Remember to check rear inside clearance. have some fun.

thank you lngbed71- that is really a nice truck you have. i am going to be dropping mine 2 1/2 in the front and 4 in the rear... so hopefully i will be around the same hight as yours, thanks again

I have 275/60 on mine mounted on 9.5 inch rims, they fit perfect.

You can run the 275/60s on anywhere from an 8 to 10" wheel. Mine are on 8" wheels. Looking at the tread width(8.8, if memory is with me), it would indicate that an 8.5 to 9" wheel would be optimum for the tire......crazyL
